Angel Gonzales: The Art Journey

 

Angel Gonzales’s journey into the art world began in her childhood, where her love for creativity was sparked at church through catechist teachings. Starting with simple coloring books, she entered and won school art contests, recognizing early on that art, along with music and crafts, held a special place in her heart. Despite this passion, life’s hardships led her into a period of deep depression for nearly seven years.

 

During the global pandemic, with the world on lockdown, Angel rediscovered her love for painting. She began selling her work, and it was in this moment of reconnection with art that her path took a transformative turn. Deciding to study figurative art, Angel found her first teacher, who introduced her to her first international symposium in Paris. Embracing her passion fully, she turned it into a profession, dedicating herself to honing her talent.

 

Angel pursued further studies in Paris, where she earned her Artistic & Scientific Diploma in Arts. Her career quickly gained momentum as she participated in prestigious international shows, including exhibitions at the Louvre, the Biennale in Colombia, and various art shows in New York. Her success and dedication to art led her to establish Neoma Galleria Philippines, where she now directs local and international art shows.

 

In 2022, Angel was honored with the title of Outstanding Young Art Director, a recognition celebrated on the New York Times Square billboard and was included as 100 Female Artist of the world. Her journey also opened doors for her to become an ambassador for Together4Heritage and a keynote speaker at various international forums, including the Lahore Museum in Pakistan.

 

Angel’s journey continues to evolve as she embraces her role as a global artist and ambassador. With her passion guiding her, she looks forward to sharing her art with the world, one exhibition at a time.
